No. Logging a bill is one screen: a picture of the receipt, the amount, and who paid. About a minute. If you can text a photo, you can do this.
No. You add them once, and they get a plain email with the numbers. No login, no app, nothing to install.
Never. It never asks for a bank login, a Social Security number, or a full account number.
Yes. That is the most important time to keep the record, because that is when family members pay from their own pockets. Everything carries over once someone is appointed.
No. It keeps the record of who paid what, with the receipts. Whether and when the estate pays anyone back is a question for the estate's attorney. The record is what makes that conversation short.

Who is behind it
I am Krista Recker, a real estate agent in Massachusetts. I sit at kitchen tables with families settling a parent's house, and I built Executor Folio so the record exists from the first bill. It is a record-keeping tool. It gives no legal advice, and every legal question in it points you to your attorney.
